Chapter Five: Water

A Windmill and Storage Tank,
source
The Sunday Truth

Quickstart:
There are two options for this chapter’s quickstart

The first option is quick but expensive.

You and your family go to the local grocery, warehouse, or discount store and purchase a case of bottled water for everyone in the family. Make sure the water bottles are at least 16 ounces and there are 24 bottles in the case. Lastly, store the bottled water in a cool, dark place, like a closet or the basement.

The other option is very inexpensive but may take some time.

First, ask your friends and relatives to save one and two liter plastic soda bottles and their plastic caps. Once you receive the bottles, rinse well inside and out with tap water, make sure you rinse the bottle cap too. Then fill with tap water. Put the cap back on the bottle and store in a cool, dark place, like a closet or the basement. Keep doing this until you have at least 12 liters for each family member.

Either method, don’t forget to store water for your pets.
